On Friday 11th June 2010 Niddrie Mill had their sports day and luckily, although it was cold, the rain managed to stay of for the duration. The children had various activites to complete including beat the goalie, running round the track, hockey dribble and skipping.
Everyone had a great time and did their best.
On 11th May, P1a and P5 attended the big screen premiere of the animations they had been working on with community artist Mark Carr.
After travelling by private coach to the Filmhouse on Lothian Road they posed for photographs before walking up the red carpet and taking their seats.
Pupils from Castleview, St Francis, St Johns and Brunstane Primaries were also in attendance as they too had been working with Mark Carr this session.
After watching the animations which covered a wide range of subjects including respect, keeping safe, anti smoking, anti racism and anti drugs the winners were announced.
Niddrie Mill triumphed and took home half of the awards on offer! Jubilant pupils and staff returned to school with their 'Oscar' trophies ready to display them for all to see!
