Parent Council Info
The objectives of the Parent Council are:
- To work in partnership with the school
- To create a welcoming school which is inclusive for all users
- To promote partnership between the school, its students, parents and the wider community
- To develop and engage in activities which support the education and welfare of the students
- To identify and represent the views of parents and users on the education provided by the school
- To identify and represent other matters affecting the education and welfare of the students
The parent council work hard all year round to raise funds for the school. They arrange coffee
mornings, fund raiser events along with many other evens throughout the year and are keen to get helpers
to assist in these spectacular days assisting in raising funds for our school
All parents of Niddrie Mill are automatically members of the parent council and, as such, have a say in how the school is run. The parent council are re-elected each year and new office posts appointed.
All parents are invited to make their views known for these meetings, either by coming along to the meeting, contacting a member of the parent council or by emailing any agenda items to parent council secretary through the school email.
